Department of Arabic

The Department of Arabic is one of the pioneer departments in MES Mampad college. From the beginning of college, Arabic was taught as II nd language for PUC students. BA Arabic and Islamic History is introduced in 1977. In 1980 the Department upgraded with MA Arabic. The department was recognized as a research Centre of Calicut University in 2018. Now 150 students at the undergraduate level and 40 students are studying at Masters's level.
