Manzur Ali P P, PhD Principal, MES Mampad College(Autonomous) is a well-versed academician and an eminent administrator. He values the role of education in transforming lives and is passionate about taking on challenges to bring the best promising outcome. He previously served as the Head of the Department of Biotechnology, Vice Principal and Principal(i/c) of the MES College Marampally and his role as IQAC Coordinator was vital in achieving MES Marampally, the much-coveted NAAC A plus grade. Dr Manzur Ali P P received his Doctoral degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology and carried out post-doctoral research at UNMC (University of Nebraska Medical Centre, Omaha, USA) after receiving the prestigious Raman Fellowship by UGC, Govt of India. He has completed six sponsored research projects funded by KSCSTE, Govt. of Kerala, UGC and the Kerala Biotechnology Commission. He has many research publications indexed in reputed journals and book chapters in his credit. Dr Manzur Ali P P is a research guide of MG University and his research interests include protein chemistry, bioactive peptides and characterization of fungal biomolecules. He has proven his organizing skills by convening national symposia, workshops and faculty development programmes. Dr Manzur Ali P P has also contributed intensively and enormously to the dissemination of contemporary scientific knowledge and inspired students and young teachers through scientific lectures in various seminars, symposia, and popular lectures in several colleges and institutions. He also served as the Board of studies member of the University of Calicut and Mahatma Gandhi University.
