The Emblem symbolizes knowledge, importance of women education, panoramic beauty of Kerala and the sense of justice and values in Islam. On top of the emblem is a verse from the Holy Quran which means "O Lord, Increase my Knowledge." Below it, the scale denotes the strong sense of justice in Islam. The crescent and the star under the scale is the symbol of Muslim culture all over the world. At the top left hand corner is the Holy Quran which is the source of all Knowledge and wisdom. On the top right hand corner is the burning torch which signifies knowledge and power. Right in the middle the letters MES stand for Muslim Educational Society. The coconut trees at the bottom signify the scenic beauty of Kerala and on the extreme right is female hand writing with a quill which suggests the importance given by Islam for the education of women. At the extreme bottom is the full name of the organization and the year of establishment.
