Mentoring Scheme for Non-Accredited Institutions

SynQ (Synchronizing Quality) is another major initiative started by our institution the objective of which is to aid other colleges in our locality that are not accredited by NAAC to get accredited.

  Phase 1

Provide orientation on

• Accreditation and Assessment: What, Why, How?
• Accreditation criteria for NAAC and SAAC
• Criteria wise workshop
• Institutional support for NAAC preparation

 Mentoring Phase II

• The Mentee institution will be lead and taken through the process of accreditation preparation till the institution is accredited.
• The mentoring process commences with general introductory seminar and will conclude on mock visits for assessing the preparedness.
• Though the process will call for continuous interaction and series of one-on-one meetings.

The mentee institution will be offered

• A General Seminar
• Support for SSR preparation.
• A visit to the institution to take stock of the Campus  and its facilities.
• A visit to evaluate presentations by Principal, IQAC, Departments and other bodies, like clubs and forums, if any.
• A final, optional visit, immediately before the Peer Team visit. The visit depends on the availability of the SynQ Team.
• Skill Enhancement sessions like Leadership, Communication, Presentation, Office automation etc may be delivered as per the requirement of the target groups, at extra cost.
