About

The prestigious department of the college is the pioneers in Food Technological Studies in Kerala state. It started functioning since 1995 with BSc Food Technology course to fulfill the demand for qualified food technologists in the emerging food processing sector all over the world. In order to widen the scope for graduates in research and higher studies, a post graduate course in Food Science and Technology was started in 2005 as an innovative program under the 10th plan of UGC.
